Beef Stew in the Slow Cooker
This easy beef stew recipe is a classic slow-cooked dish with chuck roast, carrots, onions, potatoes and tomato paste. Put all the ingredients in a crockpot in the morning and come home to a aroma filled home and a delicious dinner. The warmed up left overs are just as good the next day!
Beef Stew
Ingredients
1 onion cut in quarters
4 Chopped carrots
6 red Potatoes cut in half
(SHORT CUT - Most grocery stores have a package of the above 3 vegetables in the vegetable refrigerator. And they are already cut up)
2 Chopped garlic (or use garlic powder)
Beef stew meat (buy it pre cut or buy your favorite beef roast and cut it up into 2x2 pieces)
1 small can tomato paste
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tsp. paprika (you can skip if you don’t have it)
¼ Tsp. Black pepper
1 Tsp salt
2 cups beef broth
Parsley (Optional: add fresh cut parsley to the stew after serving)
Directions:
Spray crockpot with pam for ease of cleaning up afterwards.
Place all of the above in a crockpot
Cook on low for 6-8 hours
